An exceptional course is waiting for you this summer

Early summer light, undulating hills all around, and a view of the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean: the moment could not be more conducive to a relaxing game of golf, best enjoyed following a delicious breakfast at the Bastide Saint Tropez. Unless, of course, you prefer to finish the day out on the course, with the green in your sights.
Three superb courses
The Golf Club of Saint-Tropez, as well as the Golf de Beauvallon, located in Grimaud (10 km from Saint-Tropez) and the Golf Blue Green Sainte-Maxime (15 km) offer lovers of the small white balls, putters, drivers, wedges and woods of this wonderful sport several tens of hectares of greenery, between the scrubland, stands of cork oak and the panoramas of the bay. Wonderfully situated, these 18 hole courses offer technical challenges to bring out the best in your game. Committed golfers will feel fully at home, while beginners can take individual lessons, coaching and courses. Soon the backspin, the birdie and the bogey will have no secrets from you and your swing will be as elegant as it is effective! Advanced coaching and competitions are on the agenda for the more seasoned player.
Welcome to the Bastide Saint-Tropez
After a nice game of golf, there's nothing like a long, pleasantly perfumed shower for freshening up, so the Bastide Saint-Tropez is happy to offer you shower gels and soaps from L'Occitane in Provence as a welcome gift. For the summer of 2017, enjoy the Grasse collection of green tea and bigarade fragrances consisting of delicately smoked sweetness and the zest of a particular acidity so delightfully characteristic of bitter orange.
When Saint-Tropez gets its wings
It might be difficult, but certainly worthwhile, this July 22nd, to tear your eyes away from the enchanting beaches and blue waters of Saint-Tropez to look up into a sky that is just as blue! That’s because all the action will be aloft, thanks to the Wings of Saint-Tropez Air Show, an aerial event that spans the decades from the classic aircraft of the Second World War to the state of the art Alpha Jet.
Look up at the sky
Gaze up into the heavens. Displays, fly pasts, aerial choreographies and even wing walking are on the agenda for the Wings of Saint-Tropez Air Show, an event combining technicality and conviviality. Aviation enthusiasts will be delighted, whether they are lovers of vintage aircraft or the high-tech jets of today. Children will love it, too. Even the most jaded air show enthusiast will be rendered speechless by the prowess of the pilots of the Patrouille de France, the aerobatic demonstration team of the French Air Force, as their Alpha Jets dance and soar between the corollas of coloured smoke. As sleek jets and legendary propeller driven warriors roar above the Gulf, you’ll find yourself shouting and clapping loud enough to drown out the noise of the engines!
The view from the Citadel
Overlooking Saint-Tropez and the bay, the Citadel has imposed its massive silhouette against the sea since the 17th century. Once a fortification against invasion, today it offers an exceptional view of the surrounding area and houses the Museum Of Maritime History.
A guardian of the past
Built in the early 17th century by Henri IV to defend the coast against a possible Spanish attack, the Citadel was designed by the engineer Raymond de Bonnefons. It proudly watches over the city and offers its ochre stones to the rays of the noon sun to striking effect. Opened in 2013, the museum celebrates the everyday life of the fishermen and sailors of the Gulf and immerses us in the vibrant life of the maritime quarter of 18th century Saint-Tropez via artefacts, documents and models.
