The final weeks of summer promise, as always, to be full of fun and thrills in the seaside town of Saint-Tropez. That’s because two major events are scheduled for the month of September. The Sail Grand Prix will launch the sporting action on the weekend of September 10th and 11th, followed by a competition featuring a sport that is growing in popularity, the FIP Gold de Padel, from September 15th to 25th. The magic of sailing competitions in Saint-Tropez
Sailing enthusiasts would not miss the end-of-season regatta known as the Voiles de Saint-Tropez for anything in the world. But, this year, they will have a new opportunity to rejoice because the nautical arena of the Saint-Tropez coast will once again host the international team sailing competition Sail Grand Prix. For this French stage of the championship, you will see the impressive F50 class foiling catamarans compete in the unique setting of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. An enchanting maritime ballet!
Padel in Saint-Tropez
Coming to us from Latin America via Spain, the sport of padel stems from both tennis and squash and continues to win over new audiences. You can admire the prowess of the sport’s best players in Saint-Tropez between September 15th and 25th. The pétanque players of the Place des Lices step aside for the transparent walls of the padel court installed in the heart of the town. Organised by the International Padel Federation, this is one of the four international padel tournaments played in France. A great opportunity to see this discipline practised at the highest level!
