On April 4th and 5th, the Rétropézien motoclub invites you to the 27th gathering of vintage motorcycles in Saint-Tropez. Taking place annually since 1993, this fun and friendly event is a delight for retro bike enthusiasts. It offers a spectacle not to be missed during your stay at the Bastide de Saint-Tropez!
The Rétropézien revs up on April 4th at 11:00
The rally will start on Saturday April 4th from 11:00 in the morning. The bikers will then be invited to gather in the Boulevard Vasserot, near the market and only 1.5 km from the Bastide. This gives you the perfect opportunity to get a close look at these magnificent machines until the middle of the afternoon. At 15:00, the mayor of Saint-Tropez will wave the flag for the bikers to set off on a mass ride that will cover a total of approximately 140 km. Taking advantage of the delightful spring weather, the motorcycles will follow the coastal roads and cross the Massif des Maures. You can also see them on Sunday, when Saint-Tropez hosts the bikers for lunch near the Fountain des Lices. In a warm and celebratory atmosphere in keeping with the biker spirit, the city will then offer an aperitif to participants and visitors alike.
Exceptional bikes
Some eighty old motorcycles, all dating from before 1960, are expected in Saint-Tropez, polished and gleaming for the occasion. Among the main French marques whose powerful engines will be roaring through the town we can cite Magnat-Debon, Terrot, Monet-Goyon and Gnome-Rhône. But the big international manufacturers are always well represented, too, including Triumph, BMW, BSA and Moto Guzzi. Names present on the motorcycle market since the 1930s! Aficionados and casual visitors alike will be thrilled by this unmissable event in Saint-Tropez.
