A setting rich in charm

Bathed in Mediterranean softness, lit by a gentle yet generous sun, nestled amidst flora that remains mostly verdant throughout the year, Saint-Tropez has all the special charm of a small Mediterranean port. With the summer crowds long gone, you can enjoy the peaceful pedestrian streets where merchants and neighbours exchange a few words and take the time to relish life. The terraces, warmed by the sun, welcome you for a coffee and a traditional tarte tropézienne, the flavour of which seems somehow to capture the essence of its surroundings. In front of you, the colourful pointus, traditional Provençal fishing boats, find their place in the port now that the yachts have departed.

Saint-Tropez experiences plenty of activity all year round, partly thanks to the commitment of its merchants. Don't miss the city's markets. The recently renovated Fish Market brims with marble counters displaying the catch of the day under the stone vaults and wall frescoes. This is the place where the town’s news is exchanged. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, head to the Place des Lices for the big market. You will find all local products there. Finally, stroll through the streets to discover the shops of antique dealers, haute couture brands, local designers and food artisans...
